Hello Bros & Sis of Christ
I am a Sudan of the Republic of Sudan. I am a believer and I am writing to you to request your prayers for my country. These days are very important an decisive for te future of Sudan. In January there will be a referendum. in 2005 there was a peace agreement signed to end a 20 yr civil war between the north and south of my country. Part ofthe agreement gave th south a right to choose whether to separate from te north as an individual country in 2011. As the days draw nearer everyone is worried about the outcome. Some think that if the south decides to separate then maybe the war will begin anew.
So I ask tht you pray for President Omar al Bashir and his vice president Ali Usman Mohammed Taha and the presidential advisor Nafi' Ali Nafi'. These people hold the power and are the main reason thee are so many problems between different parties, regins, ethnicities, etc…… No one trusts that they rule for the interest of the people but for themselves and will not allow a peaceful outcome for the referendum.
