Hi!
This is what I would do – when you see those lights, ask God what they are. Ask Him every time until He shows you. Obviously He wants to, or you would not be seeing them. So
simply say "God, what is this I am seeing? Are they from you and what do they mean?"
He'll tell you.

You`re right in what you are telling me, but I also have a deep hunger inside of me of knowing God more, and that`s one of the reasons I do the things as I do. But yes, I have felt that I need to do "this and that" to get His favor…
I don`t have any friends here, and no one of the people I know here, are spirit filled christians. They are all catolics, and most of them do not belive in Jesus the way I do, as they pray to Mary and the saints. I feel spiritually alone here where I live. I do appreciate all the things my Lord have given me, but I often think it has to be more than this? Maybe that`s why I feel sometimes I need to do more, to get to know Him more, for to not feel so alone…
Could I ask you for one more question?
I often see small lights. Bright lights. A few times I have seen dark, small shadows, and I`ve got scared. When I have praied, they`ve left. But the small, bright lights, are that angels? Or could it be something bad? When I see it, I don`t get scared… But I have been wondering many times what they are.

Hi,
I would encourage you to be like Mary and less like Martha. Don't worry so much about whether you do enough. There is an old song that says "Going to church does not make you a Christian any more than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger."
Rest in Christ – yes – go to church. But also, spend time with your family and your children and your husband and friends. Enjoy the life God has given you.
In many ways, we try to earn God's favor by doing all the things we're taught. Church, prayer, bible study, etc., etc. Now none of these things are wrong, but we can end up neglecting the rest of what God has given us – life, love, family, fellowship.
I sense God is calling you to be refreshed by the things He has given you. Lay aside the guilt you feel for not doing enough. Enjoy what He has for you.
I pray this helps in some small way.

Hi!
I don`t know where to start.. I`m very confused about my life, if I hear from God or not… What is His plans for my family and I… I wish I could get some words from Him, and knowing that He is the one who speaks, not myself or a man, but God… I`m reaching my arms to Him, I have given Him my heart, my life… But it feels like something is missing in my life, something is missing with my relationship with Him…
I have two children, one daughter that is 10 years old, and a son that is 18 months old. My husband work very long days, so i`m most of the time alone with our children, cleaning our home, making food, etc…
I spend time with the Lord, listening to worship music… Praying and reading the bible… But I don`t do it as much as I should… We go to meetings in a apostolic church on sundays, but because it`s 1,5 hours from where we live, it`s difficult to be there every sunday. If it was up to me, we would be there every sunday, but my husband wants to do other things too. He got saved october last year, but he doesn`t show to much interest with bible studies, meetings,etc… But I need to be patient with him. I have been a christian for 9 years now.
Could you pray for us Bill? I need a change in our life. I need to come closer to my Lord, to hear from Him more clearly… But how?
