Personal Ministry

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 2 Tim 1:6 (NIV)

Hi Joshua,
Thanks for your post!
Each site grows as God calls posters in.

For you – remember that its not up to you to determine each persons level of need. That is God's decision. What you see, is likely not the whole story. So give as God leads.
When you know there is a need – give. And when your feel God wanst you to – do.
Also – I don't know why you'll "be out of money", but God does not want you broke…

I am confused by this section of the forum. Why are there no entries? I have a question about giving. I enjoy giving very much, but should I make an effort to mainly give when a person needs, truly needs, something? Because normally I give things to people that I know they will like, gifts. But most people that I see are not really in a state of real need, monetarily, though they probably think they are. I ask this because pretty soon I think I'll be out of money, and I was wondering should I give things to friends I love with the rest or find someone who really needs it to live? Where are the latter? I am confused about our call to give. Thank you in advance for the clarification and help.
